A 12-day production in Utah showcasing Harley-Davidson’s 2023 motorcycle lineup. This shoot utilized a robust crew across several camera units including still photography, video, FPV drone, and vehicle-mounted Russian Arm/MotoCrane. Locations included both rural and urban environments—necessitating traffic control, road closures, and shot rehearsals. With each shoot day oftentimes covering two locations, detailed planning and coordination of logistics and the on-the-ground production footprint was paramount.
FIELD NOTES
November 2, 2022 — I still can’t believe what we were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. Every day was challenging but felt like the crew was willing to do what was necessary, so very much appreciated that. Probably one of the biggest production footprints I’ve worked with on a commercial project—semi trucks, trailers, box trucks, vans, you name it. Moving things around sometimes multiple times a day was a little tricky at first but definitely got the hang of it quick. What a wild ride, but really satisfied with how everything turned out on the photo and video side. -IW
